Diluted Illusion

Diluted Illusion is an alternative rock band that pairs the heavy, raw, and dry textures of grunge with the melancholic, vulnerable lyrical themes of emo. Their music delivers a cathartic experience—inviting listeners to plunge into bleak hopelessness, while simultaneously giving them a space to release their pain and lose themselves in the energy of the sound.

Based in Bangkok, the band draws musical influence from the 90s underground scene, while channeling the melodic and lyrical sensibilities of late-2000s emo. This combination shapes their signature sound: an aggressive sonic wall that remains deeply sensitive and fragile.

The band gained significant traction with their debut single, "ความรักทำให้ฉันตาย" (Love Kills Me). This, combined with their notoriously explosive and captivating live performance at Stranger Box #3, established Diluted Illusion as a rising force in the indie scene and fueled their continuous creative journey.

Currently, the band is promoting their latest heartbreak anthem, "ฉันคงเป็นอีกคน" (Just Another One). The track features crushing instrumentals and repetitive, haunting lyrics that submerge listeners into deep sorrow. This single serves as a preview for the band’s upcoming sophomore EP, set to be released later this year.
